Bahamian Goat Pepper (Capsicum chinense)

This light orange/peach colored beauty comes from the Bahamas Islands in the Caribbean sea. A delicious pepper that's extremely hot. Like other habanero types it tends to have a fruity taste once you get past the burn. It even sometimes will grow a little scorpion tail.

There are a few other habanero types named Goat peppers in the Caribbean but none look like this one. My seeds came from my friend Luigi Mauriello's who resides in Italy. A very renowned grower and chile expert and president of one of Italy's seed banks. The Bahamian Goat Chile plant is very productive. This chile plant will grow over 4 feet tall and about 3 feet wide.

At Refining Fire Chiles we isolate our seed production plants to avoid cross-pollination with other chile species. If you want to try it yourself contact us for seeds, plants (March-August) and fresh chiles (September).

We also grow the Trinidad 7 Pot, Trinidad Scorpion, Naga Morich, Chocolate Habanero and many other Hot Chile Pepper plant varieties!
